where to listen:

Winded a Miami / Broward based indie rock band, originating from a Florida State University dorm room in 2016 as the solo project of Thrin Vianale. In 2018, the project expanded to include members of the band Man Moth (Patrick Saxer, Karl Vieweg, and Grayson Goga) following their graduation from FSU, with a move to Brooklyn in 2018, eventually settling in Miami and gaining Nick Cody (guitar), James Sturges (bass), and Gunther Schenk (drums).

Winded is characterized by confessional, emotionally raw lyrics, intense rhythmic shifts, and layered guitars and vocals.  Their debut LP, Schwartz Goes to Heaven, was recorded in 2018 with David Settle (Ex-Breathers) and released through Community Records. Winded released “double single” in 2024, and earlier this year the single “double memoir” via the Hot Stuff Recordings compilation “Severe Weather”. They are known for high-energy live sets featuring "wild swings of emotion," often transitioning from intimate moments to heavy, cathartic punk-influenced sounds. As of 2026, the band is working on their third LP, incorporating faster tempos and more rhythm-focused experimentation, with management by Incubate Talent Group.
